We’re looking for a Unity Generalist to join our team!

About MRstudios:
Nice to meet you at MRstudios. We create interactive 3D experiences tailor-made for a wide range of manufacturing sectors and operating systems. This includes Virtual/Augmented/Mixed Reality (VR/AR/MR) applications, 3D product visualisations, animations, and user interfaces.

Our VR, AR, and MR showcase products can be found at exhibitions and showrooms of leading producers, are used by sales and marketing teams as truly immersive USPs, to improve a manufacturer’s maintenance and support capabilities, and for professional education purposes.

Starting date:
January or February 2020

Location:
The position is based in Prague, Czech Republic.

Throughout the first six months, being present in Prague is essential. After this first period, a more flexible approach and different locations can be considered.

Responsibilities:
+ You will be working on different technical visualisation projects, from small to large scale applications with a focus on the manufacturing sector
+ Execution/ management of modelling, texturing/ material generation, lighting, and basic animation for real-time 3D applications
+ Performance optimisation of applications
+ Handling of specific requirements concerning desktop, VR and mobile platforms
+ C# Scripting in Unity
+ PBR materials workflow and related texture creation (use of Substance/Quixel Suite/Quixel Mixer)
+ Shader creation (code or node-based) would be a plus
+ Project management of chosen software projects

Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical study programme would be a great plus
+ Experience with hard-surface modelling, using software such as 3ds Max, Maya, Blender, Cinema 4D as well as rendering software such as VRay
+ Experience in working with collaboration and versioning tools (git, svn)
+ Basic knowledge of Adobe suite (CS6+)
+ Knowledge in development with Unity (Unreal Engine 4 would be a great plus)
+ High integrity and ability to work in a multinational team and environment
+ Having an eye for detail and high-quality standards
+ Able to work independently and in a structured manner
+ Very good level of English (another EU language would be a plus)
+ Valid permits to work in the European Union (EU)

Contract and remuneration:
+ Cooperation can be based on a fixed Czech employment contract or on a consultancy agreement
+ Remuneration is above Czech average, subject to the candidate’s skills and open for discussion
