ZIEHL-ABEGG modernised employer brand image with VR

The ZA-vr/edu Virtual Reality (VR) application for ZIEHL-ABEGG is developed for the Oculus Quest VR headset. In the midst of a manufacturing talent shortage, ZIEHL-ABEGG decided to make use of exciting new technologies to boost their employer brand image. The ZA-vr/edu application aims to make a career in the industrial sector and at ZIEHL-ABEGG exciting to technical students between the ages of 16-25.

The VR application takes the user on an interactive and immersive journey through ZIEHL-ABEGG’s Solution Center, Training Center and Brand Experience Center. In doing so, the user takes a walk through the ZIEHL-ABEGG premises, learns more about the company and its history, observes its product in use, as well as plays a little game in which he/she gets to try and assemble different ZIEHL-ABEGG fans in order to unlock new levels and information about the fans.

The ZA-vr/edu application is in the midst of being expanded to be used for various purposes, including the training of (new) employees and for marketing/sales.
