The client and issue

Logimatic, a division of I.E.M.A., is an Italian based custom turn-key automation systems developer. They build and tailor automation machinery to match the specific needs and solutions their industries require.

Logimatic developed a system for the automated dispensing of safe and sanitised cutlery in a food service environment.

Before they produced a functional prototype, they needed to gauge the interest from their customer base. The schematics and technical information did not illustrate the system in a way that Logimatic’s clients found compelling. Understanding the machine in motion, the functionality, and interactivity was paramount in the search for client interest.

The solution

The tailored solution for I.E.M.A./Logimatic is an interactive 3D, VR application designed for display at exhibitions. With intuitive interactive features, it creates an eye-catching tactile experience that develops and captivates interest.

All angles, multiple functionalities

The VR application hosts a complete and functional visualisation of the machinery. The user can manipulate the point-of-view in order to understand every angle. An X-ray view shows the function within the machinery when dispensing cutlery, refilling the system and maintaining a sanitised environment. The user interacts directly with the automated machine.
